What´s about?

This service allows users to request documents directly in each room without having to book them in advance.

Conditions and timings

• You can request up to a maximum of 3 volumes at a time per user for consultation in the room with the collection.
• There is no limit on requests per day, as long as the requested copies are returned in advance.
• It is possible to keep 3 requested volumes reserved for 15 calendar days.
• The delivery time for requests is 30 minutes maximum from receipt.
• There is also the possibility of indicating in the "Comments" field any indication regarding the request for documents to be carried out.

What documents can be requested?

Through this system, practically all of the BNE documents reflected in its web catalog can be requested.

Excluded documents

• Copies whose bibliographic records of the catalog, within the "Type of material" section, indicate Reference work or Copy that can be borrowed or consulted by the SDB. These documents are available in free access in the Room that appears in Location.

If the requested catalog number is not available, we will try to offer another catalog number of the same work, whenever possible.
