The collections include works by José Ribera, Manuel Salvador Carmona, Francisco de Goya, Mariano Fortuny, Pablo Picasso or Salvador Dalí. The collection of portraits of Spanish characters collected in the Hispanic Iconography, the devotion prints of Isidro Albert and Florentino Zamora, the 19th century Japanese prints, contemporary works given by the National Calcography, or that have entered the collection through Purchase, Donation or Legal Deposit.

Great works are preserved, such as the unique proof of the Virgin with the Child of Murillo, from the collection of Ceán Bermúdez, the test of Francisco de Goya La prisoner, prepared for Los Caprichos and never edited or the portrait of the parents of Manuel Salvador Carmona from which the BNE retains the drawing.
