The terms of gender/form used to describe how it is a publication, not its content. The refers to categories of works that feature arguments, themes, scenarios, situations or similar characters; while the form is defined as a feature of the works with a format or specific purpose.

To expedite the creation of vocabularies are discussed individually by fields of knowledge. Each of these vocabularies, although complete, cannot be considered closed, as the practice of keeping them in cataloging continual review with the possibility of modification, extension or removal of the term included.

To facilitate their knowledge, use, reuse, consultation and in this section provides individually different vocabularies. All records, however, it can download globally in the serviceprovision of records.

Vocabularies are available in PDF in structure of the thesaurus. Includes all the treaty terms relating to each area involved. If a term appears linked but is outside the Scope of application, the chapeau but without the development of their relations, marcándolo with an asterisk (*) to highlight that belongs to another vocabulary.

It was also offered in downloadable format and MARC ISO2709 MARCXML. Rows have drawn on equivalence common vocabularies, as appropriate, asLibrary of Congress Genre Form Terms,Thesaurus for Graphic Materials,Art and Architecture ThesaurusandTechnical dictionary (ministry of culture and sport).
